The Process
Every kitchen we refresh follows a proven system designed to deliver a factory-grade finish — not just on the doors, but throughout your space:
1. Careful Removal & Labeling
We begin by removing and labeling every cabinet door and drawer front. This ensures everything goes back exactly where it belongs for a perfect reinstallation. If we notice worn hinges, we’ll let you know before reinstalling.
2. Cleaning & Preparation
Doors and drawers are transported to our professional spray studio, where they go through a deep cleaning and sanding process to create the ideal surface for bonding. We clean them again to remove any remaining oils, dust, or residue before priming.
3. Priming for Strength
We spray-apply a premium bonding primer — the foundation of a flawless and lasting finish. This step is critical for durability and helps prevent chipping or peeling down the line.
4. Spraying Doors and Boxes
While your doors are being finished off-site, we transform your cabinet boxes right inside your kitchen. We set up a fully contained spray environment to keep your home clean and dust-free. Boxes are cleaned, prepped, and then sprayed with the same premium coatings for a seamless match with your doors. The result: a consistent, factory-smooth finish across your entire kitchen.
5. Topcoats for a Factory Finish
Multiple coats of Sherwin-Williams Gallery cabinet coatings are spray-applied, with sanding between layers for a perfectly smooth surface. These finishes are engineered for cabinets — durable, non-yellowing, and resistant to everyday wear.
6. Reinstallation & Final Walkthrough
Once everything is cured, we carefully reinstall your finished doors and drawers onto your freshly painted cabinet boxes. Every detail is inspected so you can enjoy a kitchen that feels brand new — without the cost or hassle of replacement.
